Bobby Mukherji Architects was entrusted with the design of the extension building at the K J Somaiya Institute of Management in Mumbai. This project involved the creation of a new block, where the firm was responsible for both the architectural design and interior work. The extension spans a total area of 125,000 sq. ft., encompassing various functional spaces such as classrooms, common areas, and public toilets, all crafted to blend modern educational needs with a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The building also features a state-of-the-art auditorium, adding to the institute's infrastructure for large-scale events and academic gatherings. Completed in 2008, the project reflects a thoughtful approach to educational architecture, ensuring that both functionality and aesthetic appeal are seamlessly integrated throughout the facility.
