With brand traits of fresh, contemporary, and vivid, this 108-key hotel in Bengaluru informed the approach of Bobby Mukherrji Architects to its architecture and interior design. Located on Race Course Road, the boutique property counts Gen-Y from the surrounding IT parks as its target audience, and therefore, the design narrative follows an ultra-modern, future-looking aesthetic.
The visual expression is conveyed through a balance of exuberance and restraint, articulated by combining rich materials executed in a minimalist style. The rooms and suites integrate technology with comfort. They are fully automated and feature multiple new-age functionalities, notably the smart glass division between the sleeping and bathing zones that becomes opaque instantly, and the window roller blinds that operate similarly. This was an intentional choice made to appeal to the core customer demographic.
Simultaneously, extensive veneer paneling and warm illumination lend these guest spaces a wonderfully cocooned atmosphere. The furniture is comfortable and soft-edged, accented by small retro details in certain locations. In many rooms, the spatial experience is elevated by the uninterrupted view of the beautiful, mature trees surrounding the property.
