Bobby Mukherrji Architects undertook the comprehensive branding and interior design for the entire Air Sahara aircraft fleet, establishing a cohesive and powerful visual identity across all elements. The project involved designing all logos and signage, ensuring brand consistency across the airline's presence.
A specialized and significant aspect was the complete design of the in-flight service experience, including food service trays, mats, salt and pepper shakers, and baggage tags—every detail was crafted to enhance the passenger journey. Furthermore, the design scope extended to the aircraft interiors, encompassing seat covers, carpets, headrest designs, cushions, pillows, and blankets, all tailored for optimal comfort and style.
A major undertaking was customizing the interiors for 27 different types of aircraft, including Boeing 737s, each having unique technical specifications. BMA successfully implemented a consistent brand aesthetic and functional standards across the entire fleet. The firm also designed the distinctive aircraft livery and crew uniforms. This meticulous and thoughtful approach to aviation interior design and branding significantly elevated Air Sahara's image and presence in the competitive Indian aviation industry.
