Private Jet Terminal At Argyle International Airport, Kingstown St Vincent And The Grenadines

Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Bobby Mukherrji Architects is designing a luxurious private jet terminal as part of the Argyle International Airport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Although it shares the same runway and main airport facilities, this private jet terminal, spread over 5 acres, operates independently with its own entrance, driveway and facilities. Overlooking the ocean with stunning views, the 60,000 sq. ft. terminal is crafted in the British colonial/plantation island style, a popular architectural approach in the Caribbean. The design draws inspiration from the region’s colonial history, incorporating light, airy interiors that exude elegance and sophistication. The terminal is specifically tailored for the super-rich clientele who own private jets, offering a space that complements their luxurious lifestyle.

The interiors of the terminal reflect an upscale aesthetic, designed to cater to the affluent visitors who frequent the region. Facilities include lavish arrival and departure lounges, bathing and showering areas, dining rooms, and a duty-free setup for high-end watches and expensive alcohol. There are also administrative offices and a dedicated crew lounge. This terminal serves as a gateway for private jet owners traveling to exclusive Caribbean destinations on smaller planes like Mustique and Canouan (since these smaller islands can’t accommodate big planes), where many celebrities have second homes. This terminal also serves as a pick up point on mega yachts for guests to cruise around in winter around Eastern Carribean sea. The design blends luxury, comfort and the rich historical context of the Caribbean, creating a world-class facility for the global elite.
