Bobby Mukherrji Architects undertook the comprehensive branding for Air Sahara, delivering a cohesive identity across various design elements. The project involved designing all logos and signage, ensuring that the airline’s visual identity was strong and consistent throughout. The firm also handled the complete design of the in-flight service experience, including food service trays, tray mats, and accompanying elements like salt and pepper shakers, mouth fresheners and baggage tags. Every detail was crafted to enhance the passenger experience, contributing to the airline’s distinctive brand.
In addition to these elements, the design scope extended to the interiors of the aircraft. we created seat covers, carpets, headrest designs, cushions, pillows and blankets, all tailored to provide comfort and style during the journey. They also designed the aircraft livery, giving each plane a recognizable and polished appearance, along with the uniforms for the crew and the onboard music selection, all of which worked together to create a seamless and branded experience for passengers.
A major aspect of the project was designing the interiors for 27 different types of aircrafts, including Boeing 737’s, leased from various countries. Each aircraft had unique requirements and design specifications, making this a highly specialized task. Bobby Mukherrji Architects successfully customized the interiors of each aircraft, ensuring that the brand's aesthetic and functional standards were met across the entire fleet. This thorough and thoughtful approach to branding elevated Air Sahara's image and presence in the competitive aviation industry.
