Blending modern elegance with traditional Punjabi and Sikh heritage, the DoubleTree by Hilton in Amritsar is a 1,25,000 sq. ft., 150-room, 4.5-star luxury hotel being designed by Bobby Mukherrji Architects. This project for Gurinder Singh Bhatti incorporates a muted, neutral palette with understated styling, showcasing a contemporary take on rural architectural elements.
This new hospitality destination will offer diverse accommodations, ranging from standard guest and twin rooms to junior suites and a grand presidential suite, complemented by an array of premium amenities. The ground and first floors will accommodate a vast lobby, café, patisserie, banquet hall, pre-function areas, and an all-day dining space. The first floor will also feature an upscale Indian restaurant and a themed lounge bar, both drawing inspiration from the opulence of the Patiala Maharajas and elements of the Golden Temple.
The rooftop is designed as a social retreat, showcasing a swimming pool, a second lounge bar, and a barbecue area. Set for completion in 2027, this project showcases expertise in crafting culturally rich, luxurious hospitality spaces.
