House of Ming, Taj Amer Jaipur, India

Jaipur, Rajasthan

At Taj Amer in Jaipur, Bobby Mukherrji Architects designed the House of Ming as an expression of cultural elegance and contemporary sophistication. Spanning 5,000 sq ft, the restaurant continues the legacy of Taj’s iconic Chinese dining brand through architecture and interiors that celebrate both tradition and modern hospitality design.

The spatial layout creates a series of intimate dining zones framed by sculpted screens, warm timber finishes, and layered lighting that enhances the depth and mood of the space. Subtle references to Ming-era artistry are expressed through textures, patterns, and material craftsmanship, establishing an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and authentic.

Every design element; from bespoke furniture to carefully composed detailing, supports the restaurant’s culinary narrative. Completed in 2024, House of Ming at Taj Amer stands as a hallmark of contemporary hospitality architecture in Jaipur, offering an elevated dining experience shaped through spatial harmony and cultural nuance.
