The master plan for Nava Raipur, the new capital city of Chhattisgarh, was developed as a self-contained mixed-use township along the banks of the Mahanadi River. Completed in 2007, the plan strategically integrated government buildings, including the assembly, secretariat and administrative departments, alongside residential and commercial spaces to create a well-balanced urban center. Designed to support the governance and growth of the newly formed state, this visionary project established a functional, sustainable and modern capital city.
