Bobby Mukherrji Architects developed a luxurious private jet terminal as a specialized part of Argyle International Airport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Spread over 5 acres, this 60,000 sq. ft. facility operates independently with its own exclusive entrance, driveway, and amenities, despite sharing the main runway. Overlooking the ocean with stunning views , the terminal is crafted in the elegant British Colonial/Plantation style, a popular Caribbean architectural approach.
The design draws deep inspiration from the region’s colonial history, incorporating light, airy interiors that exude high elegance and sophistication. The terminal is specifically tailored for super-rich clientele who own private jets, offering a space that perfectly complements their luxurious lifestyle. Facilities include lavish arrival and departure lounges, bathing and showering areas, exclusive dining rooms, and a duty-free setup for high-end goods. The complex also provides administrative offices and a dedicated crew lounge. This terminal acts as a critical gateway for private jet owners travelling to smaller, exclusive Caribbean destinations, such as Mustique and Canouan, or serves as a mega yacht pick-up point for guests cruising the Eastern Caribbean Sea. The final design successfully fuses luxury, comfort, and the rich historical context of the island, creating a world-class facility for the global elite.
