Traveling to the Orient for inspiration, Shiro Beach Club is the adjacent beachfront restobar designed by Bobby Mukherrji Architects on Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Housed in its own separate building with access to a shared deck, Shiro is articulated as a lofty, metal-framed, dark volume possessing a pronounced warehouse flavour, celebrating panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The interior design possesses an Asian vibe, embodied through enormous statues, including Buddha heads, that act as focal points within a lofty envelope rendered in rustic materials. The pan-Asian restobar delivers an impeccable spatial experience and world-class service to its guests. Lighting design significantly elevates the ambience, successfully lending the space a sense of theatre and intimacy. Alongside its neighbor, Hard Rock Café, this venue forms the largest nightclub setup in the African continent, establishing a monumental destination for entertainment and nightlife in Lagos.
