Taj Dehradun

Dehradun, Uttarkand, India

Bobby Mukherrji Architects was entrusted with designing the interiors of the public areas for Taj Dehradun, the city’s first Taj property and its second five-star hotel. Scheduled for completion by the end of the year, this project marks a significant milestone in Dehradun's hospitality landscape. The scope of work includes the design of 60,000 sq. ft. of public spaces, such as the grand entrance lobby, the lobby lounge, and a retail shop, all meticulously crafted to embody the signature Taj elegance and luxury.

In addition to these areas, the firm designed key functional and leisure spaces like the tea lounge, ballrooms, lift lobbies, pre-function areas, meeting spaces, and the business center. These areas are designed to blend sophistication with comfort, ensuring that guests experience an elevated stay. Special attention was also given to wellness areas, including the salon, spa, gym, changing rooms, and common toilets, offering a comprehensive luxury experience for guests.

The design reflects a seamless blend of functionality and elegance, creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical for a five-star setting. With its thoughtful interior design, Bobby Mukherrji Architects is helping to set a new standard for luxury and hospitality in Dehradun, ensuring that the Taj Dehradun becomes a landmark destination in the region.
