Located in the heart of Goregaon Film City, Mumbai, Whistling Woods International is a 2,00,000 sq ft campus designed by Bobby Mukherrji Architects for acclaimed filmmaker Mr. Subhash Ghai. Set across 20 acres, the institute is planned to nurture creativity through architecture that balances openness, light, and spatial connectivity. The design incorporates landscaped courtyards, shaded pathways, and garden zones that bring a sense of calm and inspiration to the academic environment.
The campus accommodates multiple academic disciplines, including Film, Media, Mass Communication, Journalism, Animation, Design, Business Administration, and Performing Arts. Each department is housed in a purpose-built structure, designed to support both technical learning and creative collaboration. Functional planning, durable materials, and visual harmony define the architectural expression, establishing Whistling Woods International as one of India’s most advanced educational environments for the arts. Completed in 2008, the project stands as a benchmark in modern institutional architecture in Mumbai.
